Terms & Conditions
Last updated: July 27, 2026
1. About Us
edeshoes.com is operated by Ede Shoes, a handmade footwear workshop in Gaziantep, Türkiye. By placing an order you agree to these terms.
2. Products
Every pair is handmade to order from natural leather. Minor variations in color, grain, and texture are characteristics of genuine leather and handcraft, not defects.
3. Orders & Production
Orders enter production after payment is confirmed. Production takes approximately 5 business days. We may cancel and refund an order if a material is unavailable or an error in pricing or stock occurred; we will notify you promptly.
4. Prices & Payment
Prices are shown in US dollars. Payment is processed securely by Stripe. We accept the payment methods displayed at checkout.
5. Shipping
US orders ship Delivered Duty Paid (DDP): the price you pay at checkout is final, with no customs charges on delivery. Estimated delivery to the US is 5 business days after production. For other destinations, see our International Shipping page.
6. Returns & Exchanges
You may return or exchange unworn shoes in their original condition within 30 days of delivery. See Shipping & Returns for the process. Refunds are issued to the original payment method.
7. Intellectual Property
All content on this site — text, photography, and design — belongs to Ede Shoes and may not be reproduced without permission.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our liability for any claim related to an order is limited to the amount you paid for that order. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under mandatory consumer law in your country of residence.
9. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws applicable in the seller's jurisdiction, without prejudice to mandatory consumer protections of your country of residence.

B2B Terms — Wholesale, Dropshipping and Private Label
The following terms apply to all business orders placed on edeshoes.com, including sample boxes, dropship orders, wholesale cartons and private label production. They are in addition to the general terms above. Where the two conflict, this section governs for business orders.
Placing a business order means you accept these terms. If you are ordering on behalf of a company, you confirm you are authorised to bind that company.
1. Who these terms apply to
A business order is any order placed for resale, whether under your own brand or ours. This includes:
- Sample orders — a four-pair sample box ordered to evaluate our product before committing to volume.
- Dropship orders — orders from one pair upward, shipped directly to your customer under your branding.
- Wholesale orders — cartons from ten pairs upward, shipped to you in bulk.
- Private label production — wholesale orders carrying your logo or other approved branding.
We reserve the right to decline any business order or application. Our workshop capacity is limited and we allocate it deliberately.
2. Orders are final once payment is taken
Every pair is made to order. Cutting begins as soon as payment clears, which means we cannot change sizes, colours, models or quantities after that point, and we cannot cancel or refund a paid order.
Please confirm your specification carefully before paying. If you are unsure about sizing, order a sample box first — that is what it is for.
This clause does not affect your rights in respect of defective goods, which are covered in section 9.
3. Minimum quantities
- Sample box: exactly four pairs. Sample pricing applies only to a complete four-pair box.
- Dropship: from one pair. No minimum.
- Wholesale: from ten pairs. Sizes and colours may be mixed within a carton, but a carton must be filled from a single size group (shoes or boots) because of packing volume.
4. Sample box and sample credit
The cost of your sample box is credited against your first wholesale order, subject to the following conditions:
- The wholesale order must be for ten pairs or more.
- The wholesale order must be placed within six months of the sample box being delivered.
- The credit applies once, to one order, and is issued as store credit against your customer account.
- The credit has no cash value and cannot be transferred to another account or business.
The credit is applied after your wholesale order is placed, not at checkout. We issue it to your account and confirm by email.
5. Pricing and payment
All prices are quoted and charged in US dollars. Prices are per pair and depend on the model group and the order type. Sample and dropship pricing differs from wholesale pricing.
Payment is due in full at the time of order. We do not offer credit terms, consignment or payment on delivery. Production does not begin until payment has cleared.
Published prices may change without notice. Prices are fixed once your order is paid.
6. Production and lead times
Our lead times are:
- Sample and dropship orders: approximately five business days in production.
- Wholesale cartons: approximately fifteen business days in production.
- Private label orders: add three to five business days for branding preparation and approval.
These are working estimates based on normal workshop conditions, not guaranteed delivery dates. We will tell you promptly if your order is running behind. Delay alone is not grounds for cancellation, since the goods are already in production.
7. Shipping, duties and delivery
We ship delivered duty paid (DDP) to the destinations we serve. Import duties and customs clearance charges for those destinations are included in the price you pay. You will not receive a separate customs bill.
- United States: free shipping.
- Europe and Canada: free shipping to Canada, France, Germany, Ireland, Italy, the Netherlands, Portugal, Spain and the United Kingdom.
- Rest of world: quoted individually. Please contact us before ordering.
Risk passes to you on delivery. You are responsible for giving us a correct and complete delivery address; we cannot re-route a shipment once it has left the workshop, and re-delivery after a failed attempt is at your cost.
8. Private label, branding and logo approval
Dropship and wholesale orders ship white-label. Boxes carry no Ede branding and no reference to any other brand we produce for.
If you want your own logo applied, the following applies:
- You must send artwork in a vector format (AI, EPS or SVG) or a high-resolution PNG with a transparent background.
- By sending us artwork you confirm you own it or are licensed to use it, and you indemnify us against any claim that it infringes a third party's rights.
- We will send a digital proof or photograph for your written approval before production. Production begins only after you approve.
- Once you approve the proof, the branding is final. We cannot remake an order because of an error you approved.
- We use your artwork only to produce your order. We do not use your brand in our own marketing without your written permission.
9. Inspection, defects and returns
Please inspect your order on arrival. Report any defect, shortage or shipping damage within fourteen days of delivery, with photographs.
We will repair, replace or credit any pair with a genuine manufacturing defect. This covers workmanship and materials.
It does not cover: normal wear; damage from misuse, moisture or improper care; variation in leather grain, colour or markings, which is inherent in natural hide and is not a defect; or a change of mind by you or your customer.
Business orders are not eligible for the consumer return policy set out above. Made-to-order goods cannot be returned for refund.
10. Minimum advertised price (MAP)
To protect the value of the product for every partner, we set a minimum advertised price. You may sell at any price you choose, but you may not advertise, list or display a price below the floor for that model group:
- Group 1 — slip-ons and derbies: USD 119
- Group 2 — loafers, boat shoes and sneakers: USD 129
- Group 3 — Chelsea and chukka boots: USD 149
- Group 4 — tall boots: USD 159
MAP applies to advertised prices on your website, marketplace listings, social media, email campaigns and paid advertising. It does not apply to the price you actually charge at checkout, to a genuine clearance of discontinued stock, or to sales made in person.
Repeated MAP violations may result in suspension of partner pricing or termination of the relationship.
11. Our brands and yours
We manufacture for a number of brands. We do not disclose who they are, and we do not disclose your relationship with us to anyone else. You may describe your product as handmade in Türkiye; you may not describe our workshop, our other clients or our processes as your own.
Nothing in these terms transfers ownership of our designs, lasts, patterns or construction methods. Producing a private label order for you does not give you rights over the underlying design.
12. General
We may update these terms. The version published on this page at the time you place an order is the version that applies to that order.
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Türkiye, and the courts of Gaziantep have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them.
